My writing skills have fallen to sub par levels, I can't begin to express the disappointment in myself. I worked so hard to get to where I was and now my apathy has led me astray yet again :\
I decided that enough is enough and that I needed to consistently stimulate my mind with culture and not by gaming.
Must get through 1 book a week.

ReplyDeletei can only recommend wimpy books like jane eyre, little women, pride and prejudice...I tried reading madame bovary but it was much too depressing. I think you may already have read all of those i've listed though!
LOL stooof i tried reading dorian gray but he starting pissing off so much i couldn't go on. aannd yer i totes agree on yiling w pride and prejudice!
ReplyDeleteLol Jess, yeah I hate all the characters except for Basil, but even then, weren't they made to be hated? Their conversations are so superficial that it makes me angry D<
ReplyDeleteYiling I read Pride and Prejudice (twice because I am slightly stupid) for our first year 10 essay and I got a D for it hahaha. But yeah it was a good book. I haven't read any of the others you've mentioned, however, I did want to start on Little Women after I get through a few more o: is it any good? what is it about .-. Viv recommended it to me :D
little women is good, it is about four sisters! i think you will like jo, she is strong minded and pro, and also the sequel has a boys' school. anyway, i think you should read it, it's quite easy to read.

HAHA. is jane eyre good?? i'm just starting it today for lit this week T_T sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's so bloody long probs just gna watch the movie. OH and another good one is the fountainhead by ayn rand
